He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold N. McLaren and Louise McLaren (Whitemore); his former spouse Marcilee Andrews; his stepfather Cline Davenport; his brother David W. Davenport; and his son-in-law Rick Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret L. Sattler; his children, David L. McLaren (Julie), Barbara W. Ward and Christine S. Mason (Rick); and his sister Carol Fairchild of Kansas City, KS.
