He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Evans and Edith Evans (Crowl) of Rollins; his wife Sherry Evans; his children, Duane Evans (Penny), Topeka, Diane Dixon, Doris Hart (Ed), Andrea Evans (Jeff Ford) and Lindsborg; his grandchildren, Andy Evans (Jolene), Brandy Wilson (Scott), Topeka, LeAnn Dupuy (Kris), Donald McIntosh (Michelle) and Nautica Hart; and his great grandchildren, Kayla Wilson, Linzie Dupuy, Kalani Dupuy, Adalay Evans, Leela Evans, Remingtyn McIntosh, Dillynn McIntosh, Hunter McIntosh and Waylon Hart. He was also cherished by His parents, brothers, sister and grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to be made to Deer Creek Animal Hospital, Chanute, Kansas and may be left in care of the funeral home.
