Shirley Marguerite Horn Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Marguerite Horn of Chanute, Kansas, born in Neodesha, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Cook and Florence Carter (Lowers); her husband Ronald Horn; her siblings, Linkie Cook, Lonnie Cook, Elsie Mead (Cook) and Collen Raida (Cook); her son Charles Cohee; and her granddaughter Asya Frazier.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Gard (Cohee) of Chanute, KS, Carla Lafon (Cohee) of Chanute, KS, Gina Richwine (Rodriguez) of Olathe, KS, Nick Horn of Flushing, MI, Terri Jo Conger (Hellman) of O'Fallon, MO and Jerry Horn of Chanute, KS.; her siblings, Martin Cook of Shawnee, KS, Janie Steele (Cook) of Neodesha, KS, Leisa Callarman (Cook) of Altoona, KS and Mike Cook of Neodesha, KS.; and also, Frank Cohee, Tony Rodriguez and Ronald Horn. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren with one great-great-grandchild.

The family requests that anyone who chooses to make a memorial to do so through the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Alzheimer's Association, which can be mailed or left with the Wickham Family Funeral Home.
