It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley A. Divine of Chanute, Kansas, born in Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dewey and Pearl Nina Sutherland (Johnson); her husband Roy Dee Divine; and her siblings, Wilbur Sutherland, Charles Dewey Sutherland, Jr., Harold Richard Sutherland, Marie Ashmore, Nina Pearl Rickets, Helen Ruth Speck and Charlotte Campbell.
She is survived by: her son Barney Divine of Chanute; her grandson William Michael Divine; and her great grandchild Eleanor Mary-Lynn Divine of Chanute.
Memorials are suggested to a scholarship fund established for her great-granddaughter, Eleanor Divine (checks may be made payable to Barney Divine).
