With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Rae Fritch of Chanute, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon Rae has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carleton Metzger and Fern Metzger (Burton). She is survived by: her husband Frank; her children, Elton Fritch (Lori) and Tricia Sarbaugh (Brian); her grandchildren, Brennan Sarbaugh and McKenna Fritch; and her brother Carl Metzger (Janet).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home - Johnson Chapel (101 N Highland Ave, Chanute, KS 66720).
Memorial contributions may be directed to Horizon Hospice and can be left with Countryside Funeral Home.
