It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel D Ornelas (Chanute, Kansas), who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ornelas and Myrtle Ornelas (Allen). He is survived by: his wife Billie; his daughter Deborah Alessandra (Al) of Keller, Texas.; his grandchildren, Ashley Allessandra (Conrad) and Christopher Colbath; his stepson Lester Lock of Bellville, Kansas.; and his siblings, Phyllis Martindale (Kenny) of Hawthorne, CA., Shirley Hutton of Chanute, KS and Kenneth Ornelas (Joan) of Chanute, KS..
