He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Knoll and Mary Knoll (Meier); his wife Sheila M. Vest; his sisters, Diane Sanbothe and Lou Bascue; and his granddaughter Cherokee Dawn Allen.
He is survived by: his sons, Marvin Ray Knoll (Lori) of Chanute, KS and Travis "Willie" Allen; his sisters, Doris Foster of Tulsa, OK, Denise Scribner of Tulsa, OK, Jean Flint of Garden City, KS, Carol Palkowitsh of Garden City, KS and Sharon Glaze; and his grandchildren, Racheal and William Ronald.
