He is survived by: his father Marvin Kennedy of Chanute, KS; his wife Amy Zirjacks; his sons, Owen Kennedy, Ethyn (Emily Kennedy), Haydon (Jojo Kennedy) and Hyson (Cierra Zirjacks); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Abbie, Milo, KynLee and Luxten; his stepfather Ralph "Byron" Hoffman of Thayer, KS; and his siblings, Bob (Linda Kennedy), Jane Kennedy of Portland, OR, Russell (Shannon Tarvin), Elinor "Nory" (Richard Graham), Marvin (Cailynn Kennedy), James Hoffman (Donald) of Thayer, KS and Renae Kennedy of Chanute, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
