It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike John Schoenecker of Chanute, Kansas, born in Nashville, Kansas, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Schoenecker; and his brother-in-law John McIntyre. He is survived by: his mother Frances Schoenecker (Karolus) of Wichita, KS; his girlfriend Mercedes; his sons, Adam Schoenecker (Sarah) of Chanute, KS and Eric Schoenecker (Kelly) of Parsons, KS; and his siblings, Dan Schoenecker (Susan) of Clearwater, KS, Tom Schoenecker (Brenda) of Douglass, KS, Nancy Brune (Mike) of Lawrence, KS, Elaine McIntyre of Wichita, KS, Joyce Gardinier (Jim) of Benton, KS, Judy Rowe (James) of Wichita, KS and Gail Kuestersteffen (Dave) of Wichita, KS.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
