He was predeceased by: his father Gary Duane Powell; his brothers, Gary R. Powell and Steven Dale Powell; his grandparents, Harvey Mensch, Veta L. Mensch and Glenn Powell; and his aunts, Loleeta Mensch, Gina Downing and Glenda Haislip.
He is survived by: his children, Brianna Perez-Powell and Andrew Perez-Powell; the mother of his children Lacey Perez; his mother Veta Moffitt; his stepfather Steven Moffitt; his siblings, Sabrina, Stephanie, Kim, Lisa and Charles; his grandson Lijah Perez-Powell; and his grandmother Martha Halgrimson. He is also survived by six aunts; an uncle; twelve nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
