He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Showalter and Ellen Showalter (Robinson); and his siblings, Larry, Jerry, Randy, Richard Showalter and Merle Grady.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Showalter (Dillow); his sons, Scott (Stacy Showalter) of Chanute, KS and Marc Showalter of Erie, KS; his brother Skip Showalter of Erie, KS.; and his grandchildren, Ashton White, Dillon Funk, Steven Showalter, Donavan Showalter, Jayda Showalter, Kaine Showalter, Karter Showalter and Kollin Showalter.
