Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint LaVone Ida leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Efford Neptune and Mary Neptune (Kuhn). She is survived by: her children, David Kimble (Sue) of Sherman and Karen Wright (Robert) of Walnut, Kansas.; her sister-in-law Lucille Neptune (LaVone) of Wichita; and her brother Marvin. She is also survived by Two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Wickham Family Funeral Home - Chanute (500 N Forest Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (1002 E 14th St, Chanute, KS 66720).
Memorials are suggested to the Otterbein Community Church of Chanute and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
