She was predeceased by: her parents, Vyrl Roberts and Ona Roberts (Ard); her siblings, Nelda Sue McGee (Roberts), Claris Eileen Angleton (Roberts) and Norman Roberts; and her grandson Ryan Messing.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Metzen (Patty) of Chanute, KS, Bruce Metzen of Chanute, KS, Cathy Wilmot (Butch) of Chanute, KS and Carolyn Messing (Terry) of Wichita, KS.; her grandchildren, Rhonda Austin (Jim), Miranda Kirkpatrick (Lucas), Amy Honer (Sean), Kevin Metzen (Courtney), Jonathan Wilmot and Christopher Messing (Madison); her great grandchildren, Christian Metzen, Anabelle, Sophia Chenoweth, Gabriel, Kingston Kirkpatrick, Cade, Casten, Caitlen Honer, Landon and Emmett Metzen; and her great great grandchildren, Braxton Messing, Adelina Espinosa, Waylon Hart and Oliver Metzen.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Otterbein United Methodist Church (202 S Lincoln Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery.
