It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Curtis (Chanute, Kansas), born in Coffeyville, Kansas, who passed away on September 5, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Curtis and Joan Curtis (Toon); his brother Jeff Curtis; and his nephew Kris Keenan. He is survived by: his children, Norman Curtis, Mindy Ayers of Chanute, KS and Ellen Curtis; his siblings, Logan Curtis (Sandy), Annie Keenan (Kevin) and Debra Curtis; and his grandchildren, Bryce Curtis, Blair Curtis, Ashton Greer, Blake Ayers and Braiden Ayers.

The family suggests memorials to be made to Cherry Street Youth Center and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
