He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kirkland and Loretta Kirkland (Tague); and his siblings, Olan Kirkland, Jim Kirkland and Brenda Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Bradshaw; his children, Kole Kirkland of Yuma and Toni Kirkland of Leicester; his stepson Lawrence Bradshaw of Hays, Kansas; and his siblings, Loyd Kirkland of Dalhart, Texas, Catherine Thomas of Pampa and Pam Moore of Johnson, Kansas.
