She was predeceased by: her brother Fred (Charles); and her daughter Loeva Carter. She is survived by: her husband Charles O. Carter Jr.; her children, Ruth Luthi-Carter (Patrick Luthi), Carolyn Robinson, Anthony (Kansas City), Paul Carter, Glenda Lacey (Chanute), Phil and Diana Carter (Pittsburg); her grandchildren, Haley Carter, Mark Knapp, Chelsie Wheeler, Jeremy, Chris Carter, Jennifer Foreback, Bill, Calvin, Simon, Samantha Robinson and Laura Luthi; and her great grandchildren, Cohwen, Joryn, Kipten, Jostyn Wheeler, Savannah, Madison Carter, Kennedy and Kiana Foreback.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Chanute, or to a favorite charity in her honor and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
