He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ray and Mary Alta Kustanborter (Washburn); his wife Lynne Rose Garrison; and his siblings, David and Kathy Kustanborter.
He is survived by: his friend Bar; his children, Jerry Kustanborter II (Lynn), Darrell Kustanborter and Laura Kustanborter of Chanute, KS; his sister Judy Whitworth of Chanute, KS; and his grandchildren, Ragyn, Kalyn, Taryn, Jesse, Jerlyn, Tyeson, Derrick, Logan, Devon, Cody and Ty. He is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren.
