She is survived by: her parents, Ralph Ellison and Zora Ellison (Pruitt); her child Mike Phillips; her sister Sharon Thompson; her sisters-in-law, Alice Ellison, Joan Phillips and Delores Maloney; her grandchild Natalie (Jason Jesse); her husband Warren; and her siblings, Calvin Ellison, Dallas Ellison, Carol Clevenger and Patty Cawthon. She is also survived by 4 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents.
