As we bid adieu to Fidela's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Fidela has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Godinez of Patrick's Catholic Church; and her brother Raul Quirarte. She is survived by: her son James Godinez (Mary) of Chanute; her grandsons, Adam (Tori) and Marcus Godinez (Stephanie) of Texas; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Gavin, Mia and Dorothy.
A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (424 S Central Ave, Chanute, KS 66720). A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick's Catholic Church and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
