She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Juan Serrato and Brigida Serrato (Oliva); her child Robert Ortiz (Jamie); her husband Luis; her daughter Delores Brill; her great grandchildren, Chris Martinez, Jalen Clounch and Oliver Ortiz; and her siblings, Alfred Serrato, Serafin Serrato, Emilio Serrato, Juanita Ortiz and Elisa Narvaez. She was also cherished by 13 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
