He is survived by: his former wives, Joyce Metzler and Janis Smith; his sons, Jack McCarty (Yvonne) of Neosho, Evan Dewey (Kellie) of Mounds and Shannin McCarty of Wichita; and his siblings, Christine Mayfield (Paige) of Galesburg, Kathryn Gill of Wichita and Britton White (LouAnn) of Galesburg. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
