With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Haviland of Chanute, Kansas, born in Thayer, Kansas, who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Haviland and Mary Juanita Haviland (Piatt); his sister Peggy Maffei; and his nieces and nephews, Tara Courter, Melinda Crews, Christopher Bursey and Scott Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Marie Crews; his children, Brian Haviland (Bobbie) of Humboldt, KS, Mark Haviland (Randi) of Chanute, KS and Jennifer Sanders (Aaron) of Webb City, MO.; his sister Mary Brooks (Gary) of Cherryvale, KS.; his friend Chip (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Alexis Mitchell (Joe), Lauren Bertling, Paige Haviland, Aaron Haviland (Kyla), Ashley Haviland, Kelsey Haviland, Jacob Haviland, Conor Haviland, Carsyn Haviland, Liam Sanders and Mila Sanders; and his great grandchildren, Carter Riley, Arianna Mitchell, Olivia Mitchell and Hudson Bertling.
