It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Dickens of Chanute, Kansas, born in Neodesha, Kansas, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Dickens and Fayrene Dickens (Kenworthy); and his siblings, Norma, Peggy, Richard, Patty and Sharon.
He is survived by: his wife Marge; his daughters, Cindy Qualls (Scot) of Hanahan, SC, Lisa Dickens of Swarthmore, PA, Laura Writer (Justin) of McAllen, TX and Leslie Childers (James) of Loma Linda, MO.; his sister Sue Hadaegh of Parsons, KS; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Gavin, Leah Qualls, Annabelle, Ian Writer, Rylan and Alivia Childers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
