It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Ray Leeper of Chanute, Kansas, born in Perry, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Phillips (Hammans); his children, Jeremy, Jason (Melinda), Staci Lynn Leeper of Chanute, KS and Amy Johnson (Ed Turner) of Chanute, KS; his siblings, Ronnie Leeper (Ida) of Chanute, KS, Roy Leeper of Adair, IA, Jim Stonehocker (Kelly) of Adair, IA, Darlene Stover (Paul) of Las Vegas, NV, Marilyn Hart (Paul Maltease) of Gray, TN, Diane Culp of Girard, KS, Mary Prokpec (Richard) of Clarkson, NE, Jackie DeRyke (Mike) of Shelby, NE and Janet Braun (Frank) of Freemont, NE; and his nephews, Blair Stover and Jesse Leeper. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Children's Hospital or to the E.L.K.S. Lodge No. 806 Lake Fund.
