She was predeceased by: her former husband Harry L. Shannon; her brothers, Raymon and Vigil Gough; her granddaughter Connie Asher; and her niece Judy Jones.

She is survived by: her daughters, Betthe Stokes of Chanute and Betty Stokes of Chanute; her granddaughter Veronica Simmons (Ron) of Chanute; and her stepgrandson John Piatt of Cherryvale. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
