It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Skillett (Centralia, Kansas), born in Axtell, Kansas, who passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Barnes (Matson); her son Doug Skillett; and her brother-in-law Kale Gudenkauf. She is survived by: her husband Darwin Skillett; her sons, Greg Skillett (Sarah) of Lenexa, KS, Gary Skillett (Karen) of Shawnee, KS, Darwin "Bub" Skillett of Independence, KS and Dennis Skillett of Centralia, KS; and her sister Joyce Gudenkauf of Junction City, KS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
