He is survived by: his wife Shirley Deters of Seneca; his children, Darlene Deters (Topeka), Mary Jane Ronnebaum Axtell (Rolan), Mary Rose Sudbeck Seneca (Dan), Alice Hermesch Goff (Leon), Linda Schieferecke Eudora (Mark), Luke Deters, Lawence, Jason Deters Seneca (Dana), Jeff Deters and Lawrence; his siblings, Paul Deters (Carol), Rosann Huninghake (Seneca), Donald Deters Axtell (Mary Jane), Larry Deters Topeka (Mary Ellen), Mark Deters Baileyville (Dottie) and Marceil Bergman Seneca (John); and also Alan Ronnebaum Axtell (Connie).
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (357 N 3rd St, Baileyville, KS 66404).
