He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis W. Koelzer and Catherine Weber Koelzer; his former wife Marjorie R. Marcy; his wife Helen B. Guardiola; his son William Koelzer; his stepson Charles Guardiola; and his siblings, Clem Koelzer, Cordula Becker, Dolorosa Engelken and Michael Koelzer.
He is survived by: his children, James Koelzer (Debbie), Eugene Koelzer (Colleen) of Firth, NE, Marianna Murphy (Mike) of Lincoln, NE, Frances Zessin (Greg) of Malcolm, NE and Dorothy Fisher (John); and his stepchildren, Calvin Covington (Dorothy), Richard Guardiola (Debbie), Varo Guardiola (Sandy), Sandy Erickson (Ray), Renee Vandevelde (Rick) and Dr. Espe Guardiola. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
