It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph James Bailey Jr. of Centerville, Kansas, born in Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Maxine Bailey (Cusick) and Joe Sr. Bailey. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Bailey of Jonesboro and Andrew J. Bailey (Linda Backstrom) of Prairie Village; his granddaughters, Courtney Pope, Haley Thyng, Ramona Bailey, Erin Bailey, Andrea Williams-Vestal and Ashley Bailey; and his siblings, Ed Bailey of Sebring, Florida and Eileen Sandburg (Mark) of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by four great grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and left in care of the funeral home.
