Marjorie Steward Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 79, Marjorie Steward (Cedar Vale, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenroy "Jim" Leayman and Marjorie Jean Leayman (Kunkel); and her brothers, Gary and Ron Leayman. She is survived by: her husband Dale Steward; her children, Brent Steward (Susan), Patrick Steward (Jodi), Karen Flory (Trent) and John "Mark" Steward (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Hannah Steward, Kate Herrenbruck (Grant), John Steward, Morgan Phalen (Kyle), Leah Swartzendruber (Joe), Allison Campbell (Eli), Weston Flory (Jessica), Tucker Flory (Sara), Collin Flory, Susannah Flory, Sophie Steward and Adriana Steward; her great grandchildren, Hadley Swartzendruber and Finley Flory; and her sister Cindy Hibbard.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (145 N Cedar St, Howard, KS 67349). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Vale Cemetery (205 Kingman St, Cedar Vale, KS 67024).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in honor of Jean Steward, to First Baptist Church of Howard, PO Box 295, Howard, KS.
