He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Harrison Rayl and Myrtle Goldie Rayl (Johnson); and his brothers, Wayne Rayl and Kenneth Rayl. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Rayl; his daughters, Gwendolyn McBee (John) of Cedar Vale and Jennifer King (Phil) of Prescott, Arizona; his sisters, Wanda Langsford, Gloria Fields and Faye Brattin; and his grandchildren, Heather Ingram, J. T. McBee, Rachel Salcedo and Garret Pudden. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (418 Monroe St, Cedar Vale, KS 67024). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family has suggested memorials to the Cedar Vale/Dexter Trap Team and the Veteran's War Memorial Park in Cedar Vale, Kansas and those remembrances can be left in care of the Dickens Family Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361.
