It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ellen Dubbert (Cawker City, Kansas), born in Tipton, Kansas, who passed away on December 23, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Brummer and Katherine Brummer (Ketter); her husband Leon Dubbert; her siblings, Edwin, Donald, Doris Marie Fogo and Vivian Steerman; and her great grandchild Ashley Olsen.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Dubbert (Kathy) of Downs, Kevin Dubbert (Tricia) of McPherson, Dale Dubbert (Linda) of Albuquerque, Kelly Dubbert (Kim) of Overland Park, Denise Gaughan (Tom) of Leawood and Darcel McPeak (Barry) of Glen Elder; her grandchildren, Rachel Olsen (Joe), Trevor Dubbert, Brett Gaughan (Tami), Jonathan Gaughan (Katelyn), Todd Dubbert (Stephanie), Chad Dubbert (Abby), Mackenzie McPeak, Brian Dubbert, Anna Dubbert, Kate Kadel (CJ) and Sarah Dubbert; her sister Mary; her stepgrandsons, Jared Berkstresser (Leslie) and Bradley Berkstresser (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Paul, Lily, Izzie, Lena, Gracie, Leon, Brennon, Avery, Magdelene, Tommy, Brogan, Emma and Shae; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Avery and Isaha; her siblings, Wendell Brummer (Delores) of Downs, Wayne Brummer of Great Bend and Carol Suter of Aurora, Colorado; and her siblings-in-law, Vernon Steerman of Alton, Robert Dubbert (Mary) of Tipton and Doralyn Dubbert of Downs. She is also survived by six children, 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Church or the Cawker City Senior Center.
