It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Winkel of Cawker City, Kansas, born in Anthony, Kansas, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Winkel and Irene Winkel (Hummel); his wife Patti; and his siblings, Jean Boden and Lawrence Winkel Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Anthony (Iryna) of St. Louis, Brian (Christine) of Glen Elder and Denise (Ben Arnold) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Savannah, Kaleb Winkel, Tasha Jenkins, Christopher Hudson, Sierra Callahan, Brittany Lawrence, Raleigh and Sloane Arnold; his great grandchildren, Kevin, Abigail, Briley, Lakyn, Easton, Bryndle and Barrett; and his siblings, Mary Gamber, Doris Greene and Karl Winkel. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Tunnels for Towers.
