He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilmer Thiessen and Alvera Thiessen (Classen); his wife Jenna Eliza Nageotte; his children, Wyatt, Daniel, Cole and Jeannette; and his siblings, Doug (Crystal Thiessen), Joe (Charisa Thiessen) and Karen (Chad Williams) of Atlantic. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
