She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Flanagan and Frances Flanagan (Kraus); her husband Ed Fitzgerald; her daughter Teresa Ackerman; and her sisters, Violet Moore and Janis Dickerson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Fitzgerald of Ozawkie and Charles Fitzgerald (DeAnna) of Carbondale; her close friend Jim Snyder of Lyndon; and her siblings, Dennis, Gary Flanagan and Cleta Hopkins. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
