He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles W. McCormick and Louise Erb McCormick; his wife Donna Mitchell; his sons, Doug McCormick of Carbondale, Mike McCormick (Janelle) of Lawrence and Matt McCormick of Lawrence; his granddaughters, Bria and Paisley McCormick; and his brother Denny McCormick of Timken, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus or The St. Patrick's Church (Building Fund) and sent in care of the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. 6th Street, Osage City, Kansas 66523.
