He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Barr and Imogene Barr (Eyman); and his siblings, Danny Barr, Terry Barr and Sandra Stewart.

He is survived by : his children, Virgil Barr (Lindsay) of Scranton, Sherry Lester (Scott) of Scranton and Candy Barr of Scranton; his siblings, Gary Barr (Pat), Jack Barr (Denise), Joyce Manthe (Larry), Mary Bogren (Alvin) and Shari Untz (Tom); and his brother-in-law Bud Stewart. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
