It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Runnebaum of Carbondale, Kansas, born in Holton, Kansas, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Cummings and Euna Davis Cummings; her siblings, Leo and Donna Cummings; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Corkhill and Terry Long.

She is survived by : her husband Dan; her children, Eric Runnebaum (Dana), Brenda Runnebaum, Sr., Mary John Paul, C. C. and Amy VanDorn (Jeff); her siblings, John Cummings (Andrea), Mary Corkhill, Jim Cummings (Linda), Dan Cummings (Therese), George Cummings (Geri), Janice Long, Charles Cummings (Marsha) and Andy Cummings; and her sister-in-law Julie Cummings. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick Church Building Fund, Scranton, and sent in care of the funeral home.
