He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Otte and Adeline Otte (Vogts); his wife Cheryll Lee Koller of Canton; his sons, Matthew Hill (Catlin) of Denver and Christopher Hill (Kristin) of Canton; and his brothers, Bruce and Richard. He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.
A memorial has been established with the McPherson County Humane Society, in care of Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
