He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Colburn and Ruth Colburn (Green); and his grandson Kyle Colburn. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Pohl; his children, Kim Powell (Ward) and Charles Colburn (Julee); his sister Ann Swanson (Marvin); his granddaughters, Nicole Perryman (Jake) and Katie Colburn; his great grandchildren, Auriahna and Oliver Perryman; his stepgrandchildren, Blair Miller (Kevin) and Bailey Kearney (Cody); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Chandler and Braelynn Kearney.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery (703 26th Ave, Canton, KS 67428).
A memorial has been established with the church, in care of Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
