She was predeceased by: her father William A. "Bud" Besecker; her in-laws, John and Hazel Bacon; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Bacon and Russ Jennings.

She is survived by: her mother Pearl L. Besecker (Winter); her husband Van C. Bacon; her children, Justin Bacon of Kansas City, Missouri, Jennifer Wilson (Sean), Jolene Schmidt (David) and Jessica Boller (Matthew); her siblings, Robert Besecker (Peggy) and Judy Jennings; and her pet Nalla. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
