With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Milferd Leland Schmidt of Canton, Kansas, born in Goessel, Kansas, who passed away on February 11, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter B. Schmidt and Susie Schmidt (Goertz); his daughter Susan Berry; and his siblings, Pete Jr., Harold, Elmer, John Henry, Edna Ensz and Emma Regier.
He is survived by: his brother Peter Jr.; his wife Marilyn Flaming; his son Loren Schmidt (Sandy) of Canton; his grandson Dustin (Lacey); his great grandchildren, Jackson and Elizabeth; his daughter Anne Burch (Mark) of Goessel; his granddaughter Andrea Schmidt; his great grandchildren, Santana, Summer, Dana (Forest), Josh and Nate; his son-in-law Bruce Berry; his grandchildren, Zachary (Kadey) and Jadeyn; and also, Kari, Madison and River.
