He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William H. Colgin and Joyce Colgin (Myers); his wife LaJuana Jo; his mother-in-law JoAnn Meier; and his brother Roger. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with the McPherson Animal Shelter, in care of Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
