He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kay" Posey; his children, Rhonda Inman of Caney and Ronald M. Posey Jr.; his wife Amy of Kansas City; his brother Gary Posey; and his son-in-law Kevin Inman. He is also survived by four granddaughters and two great-grandsons He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister.
