He was predeceased by: his significant other Dianna Lynn Wacker; his parents, Floyd Medlen and Margaret Medlen (Little); his brothers, John and Bill Medlen; and his daughter Amanda.
He is survived by: his sons, Ricky and Thomas Medlen; his siblings, Sally Bishop and Bob Medlen of Dewey; his half-brother Joe Medlen Taylor of Caney; and his stepchildren, Eva Fisher (Martin Fisher) and Nic Shull (Sonya Shull). He is also survived by Several grandchildren and three great granddaughters, along with many other family members.
