He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Newcomb and Exnah Newcomb (Dunn); his wife Ellen Newcomb; his daughter Kim Lovelle; and his sisters, Sammy Grimes and Jackie Buttel.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Vaughn, Scott Newcomb and Troy Newcomb; and his siblings, Bill Newcomb and Faye Lovelle. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
