He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Elaine Daniel (Burton); his grandparents, Orey, Mabel Burton, Nobel and Lottie Daniel; and his stepbrother Leonard Cunningham.

He is survived by: his father Marvin Daniel; his stepmother Darlene Daniel of Caney, Kansas; his brother Nobe Daniel of Phoenix, Arizona; his nieces, Ashley Maish and Rachel Daniel of Phoenix, Arizona; and his stepsiblings, James, Ron Cunningham of Tyro, Kansas, Pamela Cunningham of Caney, Kansas, Sherri Melander and Cindi Bryan of Tyro, Kansas..
