It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fairy Joan Paine of Caney, Kansas, born in Coffeyville, Kansas, who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Fairy Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Fairy Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Kyle "Skeet" George and Ethel Pauline George (Miller); her husband George M. Paine Jr. of Paul's Episcopal Church; and her siblings, June Freisberg and Kenneth George.
She is survived by: her son Edward George Paine; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Paine of Phoenix, Ariz.; her sister Kathy Taylor (Rudy); and her sister-in-law Reba George of Caney.
