He is survived by: his girlfriend Carlotta Gordon of Caney, KS; his girlfriend's son Brian Gordon of Pasadena, CA; his sons, Matt Messner (Lyndsee) of Copan and Dustin Messner of Caney, KS; his siblings, Gail Padden of Lawrence, KS and Darrel Messner of Caney, KS; and his grandchildren, Ty Messner, Gavin Messner, Braydon Messner, Eli Messner and Maysa Messner.
