He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Edgar and Faleutus Viola Stevens (Sheets); and his son-in-law Larry Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Leo Stevens (Debbie) and Judy Thomas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren, he is also survived by 3 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
